It is now clear to everyone that the Covid-19 pandemic in the last year has had a deep impact on the economy, the psychological climate and expectations for the future of artistic activities and the economic and social fabric of Verona and Italy.
Fondazione Arena di Verona has worked with determination to confirm its role as a beacon for the city and a light of hope for its fellow citizens.
With an indomitable, concrete and constructive spirit, even in one of the worst moments of recent history, Fondazione Arena has given life to the ambitious Fundraising and Corporate Membership project “67 Colonne” for the Arena di Verona. This is an important project designed to strengthen one of the key institutions of the economy and culture of the city of Verona and its territory, and above all, an icon of Italian style in the world.
The name suggests the idea of ideally rebuilding the outermost circle of the Arena’s arches, destroyed in 1117 by a terrible earthquake, thanks to the embrace of 67 entrepreneurs, united by their love for the Arena and its cultural role in Italy and the world.
MADAS is an active member of this laudable initiative, supporting art, economy and culture.
We can proudly say: We are one of the “67 Colonne”.
